We were happy to hand over the 2019 ZEISS Photography Award to @rorydoylephoto last night in London. 🏆 Under the theme "Seeing Beyond – The Unexpected”, Rory won the race with his photo series "Delta Hill Riders". He receives € 12,000 worth of ZEISS lenses and € 3,000 to cover travel costs for a photography project. Rory has never owned a ZEISS lens himself and is now particularly looking forward to trying out the Batis family. What lens would you try out first?
Greg shows his bag! Rock star photographer @gregwatermann shows us the inside of his photo bag. The ZEISS Batis 1.8/85 is his go-to portrait lens in the studio and makes nice backgrounds on-stage as well.

To all the Batis 2/40 CF owners: Thank you very much for your patience and understanding! Once you’ve installed the update, the ZEISS Batis 2/40 CF will only automatically stop down at preset aperture values between f/2 and f/2.5 at a focus distance of between 24 and 65 centimeters – in extreme cases (minimum object distance) to max. f/2.8. With an aperture value of f/2.8 and up, the aperture will remain unchanged across the entire focus range. What’s more, the update will enhance the focus accuracy when using the camera’s eye AF function. Please follow the link in bio or type zeiss.ly/firmwareupdatebatis240cf in your web browser to find out more about the update and the free download for your ZEISS Batis 2/40 CF.
