It’s all about SELF improvement

I know some people that will find a 10 minute walk challenging. I also known some people that can easily run a marathon. It’s not about the ability of others that should matter to you as an individual though- its finding ways to improve your performance. I was a person that couldn’t jog for more than a minute straight and struggled to walk for more than 20 minutes. After I found a trend in cardio that I enjoyed, I began to change small things with each time I went in the gym. Increasing the speed or incline little by little helped me easily adapt to the change. This isn’t the greatest comparison photo, but in a short few months I was able to go from doing less than 20 minutes on a slow speed to 35 minutes on a higher speed. Seeing my change from when I first began, barely able to walk, motivated me to keep improving on myself and ONLY myself, without comparison to others. —————————————

This!!!!!! I absolutely love this! As human beings we like to tear and pick ourselves apart however that is where we fail! Because we start thinking “damn they are skinner than me” or “shoot they are losing weight faster than me” etc etc! Y’all throw that bullshit out and change your mentality! I was guilty of it too WE ARE HUMAN! We will compare and judge but the key is to try your best to push those thoughts out as soon as they come. Like I always say do what works for YOU and stay in your lane. Progress is progress even if you’re working out or walking for 10 minutes a day it will add up! Everything decision you make to get you to your goals will add up. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else just do you! You’re doing great! ❤️

Feeling absolutely adorable today, but I can tell I'm slightly puffy. After reaching a new low on Saturday, my body decided to bloat up and hold all the water. I'm standing between 192 and 192.8 over the last few days. In the grand scheme, it is only 1 lb at most, but I can still see the bloat.

I know it is most likely leading up to a woosh, but I'm ready for it now 🤣 If I can remain patient, the results will be so worth it.

It's always hard when you're kicking butt doing what you're supposed to be doing and the scale stalls over a 1-2 pound range. 
Our vacation is coming up, and I really wanted to reach 190 before going. Either way, I'm foineee  as hell and kicking booty! [Positive vibes and thoughts] Have a great day and stay strong!

Getting in the protein and water is tough. Liquid diet is tough. I can honestly say it has been a little harder than I thought it would be but I am feeling really good. Yesterday morning started out rough I was feeling really dehydrated unsure how I would ever get all the water in. It’s a challenge when you can only consume water in small amounts at a time to get 64 Oz in so I am trying to make it fun. Who doesn’t like to take shots! So I take one shot of water every 15 minutes of course it’s in a few sips not all at once and then a shot of protein every 2 hours. Yesterday was a success! I am glad I went this route it’s really working for me. I got in my water and I finally am not feeling dehydrated anymore. .

So in 2009 I set up my consultancy business and things had gone well, my boyhood dream was always to save up and have a Porsche, I love cars and all my car stuff is @fast_upp which you will notice never has any pictures of me.

I had been in a fortunate position for a few years to be able to achieve this but in the world of first world problems I felt a little bit embarrassed about the prospect given what I looked out and the practicalities of owning it.

I said it would have been nice to have lost about 5 stone when it was due to arrive between October and December 2018, a blue Cayman was ordered and the wait and weightless began.

So in 2009 I set up my consultancy business and things had gone well, my boyhood dream was always to save up and have a Porsche, I love cars and all my car stuff is @fast_upp which you will notice never has any pictures of me.

I had been in a fortunate position for a few years to be able to achieve this but in the world of first world problems I felt a little bit embarrassed about the prospect given what I looked out and the practicalities of owning it.

I said it would have been nice to have lost about 5 stone when it was due to arrive between October and December 2018, a blue Cayman was ordered and the wait and weightless began.

It is easy to sit back, wish, hope, and maybe even pray that you could lose weight, however that is not how this works.  There is no secret pill.  There is no secret recipe.  There is no get skinny quick method that you will be able to sustain.  You have to put in the work.  You have to find what works for you.  YOU have to just DO IT!

Now, with that being said, know that I am an advocate of supplements.  All of you pill haters, bear with me and read on.  I use a fat burner.  I mix up and inhale protein shakes.  I love prework out and post workout kicks.  I 100% feel like the supplements have done exactly what they are supposed to for me.  They have SUPPLEMENTED the work that I put in!  I know that I could have done this without supplements, but I know it would have been a much slower process.  I would not have lost 115 pounds in under a year.  I would not have the energy I have.  I would not feel as good as I do.  You have to do what works for you!

I have been on this journey for a year now.  I know that it is hard as hell.  I know there are days where you will think F this!  BUT I know that if you don't stop if you be persistent and consistent, you WILL see results. Look at me, I am complete proof of that.  I have rough days.  Even have had some rough weeks, but no matter what I kept pushing.

Happy #transformationtuesday scale edition.. Only regret is not taking pictures sooner.  The highest number I had seen on the scale was 283.  It’s not a sprint this is a journey and a lifestyle. .

#transformationtuesday Rower Edition 🧡⁣

I had been plateauing for a few months and then actually gained a little holiday + stress weight before the picture on the left was taken in January. Below I listed the changes I made to get the results on the right that helped me shed 18 more lbs (-83lb total loss). ⁣
⁣
BUT I just want to reiterate that I’m not on a “diet”. I get asked about the diet I’m on more than any other question. Restricting and diets work for some people and I respect that, but for me it’s led to eating disorders in the past. It’s truly all about balance and moderation... which I know sounds cliché. 🤷🏼‍♀️ ⁣
⁣
I just want to keep it honest and real...⁣
⁣
• Upped my calorie intake. I believe I was actually eating fewer calories than my body wanted which was making it hold on to weight. 🤯 I used the TDEE calculation for this (which is a question I get frequently). But honestly, some days I don’t track anymore because I can intuitively eat now knowing what my body loves and responds well to. ⁣
• Participating in the @orangetheory Transformation Challenge from January to March helped me reevaluate my nutrition. It helped me become more honest with myself. Yes I eat more calories, but most of the calories I do eat come from fruit or vegetables or lean protein sources. ⁣
• Changing it up in the OTF studio. I used to be an avid treadmill starter. I would legit race to get to my favorite tread at @otfnwomaha 😂. But I started changing it up about mid March. When I’m taking a 3G class I love starting on the floor. And other days I’ll start on the rower. I believe this has benefitted me because I am able to lift heavy and burn my legs out before running on the treadmill. ⁣
• I reevaluate the weights I’m using quite frequently. If I’m not struggling during the last rep, I increase my weight selection.⁣

Something I’ve learned through it all is that this journey of becoming a “healthier me” is perpetual. I’ll always have some bad days, days where I struggle, some good days, and some days where I am and give my best. But the most important thing is to love myself through it all. 🙌🏼⁣
