The half kneeling landmine press is a simple variation to transition to if you find that you’re using too much momentum by heaving with the knees or twisting the torso when performing a traditional standing landmine press.

You’ll often find when transitioning to a kneeling landmine press that you’re forced to lower the weight significantly in order to press the weight with proper form.
.
Once in a half kneeling position, ensure that the barbell is positioned just slightly above your shoulders so that your press incorporates a full range of motion.
.
Maintain an upright torso and squeeze the end of the barbell as tightly as possible to ensure stability through the shoulder.
.
Drive the barbell upwards, leaning forward ever so slightly to follow the path of the barbell, until your arm is fully extended before lowering the barbell back down to the starting position.

The landmine press is a great secondary exercise that contributes primarily to the development of the shoulders and triceps but to a lesser degree the upper chest as well.

Week 4: day 22
That’s how to finish the chest workout. One last drop set and it tears apart all the muscle fibers. 
This is the most hardest one and by this time I’m screaming to finish the last reps but here’s the thing, “Never give up”. Sometimes it’s hard to not get enough sleep or recovery from the last workout but when you feel like that. Just take a break to relax. The first month is the most hardest. You hardly see a change coming, but keep feeding your body. The body starts rebuilding the right proportion of ingredients to itself and once they are full, there comes the ultimate pump and muscle building. Just like any other sport, bodybuilding also takes time to learn it, so far I have learnt quite a lot and still learning and studying and then trying to understand the right ingredients the body need. 
Many fitness coaches just suggest supplement A, B and C but the fact is you only need to supplement your body either after a full body test or by studying and understanding what your body is demanding. I had stress in all of my back and neck. Most likely due to sitting on laptops and wrong posture. After understanding the root problem, I tried Ashwagandha and that’s exactly what my body needed. It was a rest day and I let my body heal. And then I could feel a relaxation in my bqck and neck and then again I started with more energy. If you have anxiety, nothing will work because your body is too confused. Relax and keep patience.

Sometimes when I look at myself in the mirror everyday I wonder, “have I made any progress at all? Am I working this hard for nothing?” Then all of a sudden I just happened to see this picture from one year ago and when comparing to a picture from now I say, “Yes, all my hard work is starting to pay off!” I’m not where I want to be and will continue to #trainhard to get closer and closer to my goals 💫💪💦 .

When you feel like quitting, DON’T! Consistency is the key to reaching your goals and becoming the best version of you! I’ve started and stopped so many times before and I think, where would I be now if I would have just been consistent day after day all these years. A LITTLE PROGRESS EACH DAY ADDS UP TO BIG RESULTS
This weeks  #transformationtuesday Tuesday goes to the beautiful Dr. Sunila , who not only dropped 30 kilos through healthy eating and light exercise, but also corrected her Eating style by making a lifestyle change

I am so proud of her!! Her physical transformation is amazing! But her attitude and relationship towards healthy eating  is the biggest transformation!

Always remember where you started because let’s be honest I’m not that person anymore. I was 4 months into my weigh-loss journey in the first picture and actually felt pretty good . It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get to this point and it’s a daily struggle but I wouldn’t change a single thing. I’m a better person & a better mom. I recently saw a post from a trainer which basically said if your trainer just puts you on a cardio machine fire them. Years ago I would have completely agreed with this as it’s one reason I got into training people as I felt some trainers were lazy just putting their client on a treadmill which takes little knowledge and effort and isn’t the most beneficial way to get in shape (for most). Now I’ve never put a client on a treadmill for a training session as I feel it’s a waste of my talent but I feel some people won’t do their cardio unless someone is watching over them, also some people like the interaction with a trainer whilst not lifting weights and some people feel too intimidated to go into a public gym without a trainer supporting them.

It’s important to remember as trainers we are there to aid the client to their exact needs whatever they may be.

Yesterday I started my new job and they graciously took me out for lunch. I ordered this AMAZING salad and my coworker said, “you should treat yourself, the company is paying!” Lol. I said thanks but I had already treated myself on Easter and that I was pretty dedicated to tracking my calories.

This led to questions about why and before I knew it, I was explaining to her this crazy transformation that I’ve been on for the past 11 months! She asked if I had any pictures and so I showed her this side by side that I had already prepared to post for today. Her reaction was both flattering and also hilarious! Lol. Her mouth literally dropped open and she just said over and over, “no way that is not you!” I assured her it was and showed her some other progress pictures from throughout my journey and she asked if I would want to walk with her on our lunch breaks once I get a little more settled into the company. I was so excited because this journey has given me so many new opportunities and ways of connecting with people! It’s one perk of all of this that I wasn’t expecting, but that I’m definitely enjoying!

On a side note, I bought this vest like two years ago and at the time it barely reached the front of me, and now I can literally wrap it around myself! I love this journey so freaking much! 💕

She asked if I had any pictures and so I showed her this side by side that I had already prepared to post for today. Her reaction was both flattering and also hilarious! Lol. Her mouth literally dropped open and she just said over and over, “no way that is not you!” I assured her it was and showed her some other progress pictures from throughout my journey and she asked if I would want to walk with her on our lunch breaks once I get a little more settled into the company. I was so excited because this journey has given me so many new opportunities and ways of connecting with people! It’s one perk of all of this that I wasn’t expecting, but that I’m definitely enjoying!

On a side note, I bought this vest like two years ago and at the time it barely reached the front of me, and now I can literally wrap it around myself! I love this journey so freaking much! 💕

#transformationtuesday  to Florida, my actual 21st birthday and today. I was 19 stone 1 or 120 kilos for Aussies reading this, in this photo. Vs today, I just ran 5k, 1k on the cross trainer and then weight trained.. vs not being able to walk around Florida and having to buy a new pair of shoes.. which surprise surprise still didn’t help. -

I look so happy in this first photo, I probably was. I mean I was in Disney, but I also recall thinking that that everyone was looking at me, it was 35 degrees SO HUMID, and I found it completely unbearable. I was too embarrassed to wear shorts so lives in leggings for two weeks and was absolutely boiling. -
I had a level of paranoia I can’t even describe, I genuinely believed people were starring at me. That Michael ( my husband) was cheating on me and that I was never able to lose weight. I was so paranoid that my husband was cheating on me, because I felt so bad about the way I looked.  I never felt good enough. -
Never did I imagine that one day I would be taking a selfie in my sports bra. I never imagined having my legs on show. -👙

I still get paranoid and my mental health regarding my weight is still not great. But I’m so happy, I’m happy with my life. Without losing weight I could never have got my job, I could never have moved to Australia because I wouldn’t have had the confidence, and Michael and I probably wouldn’t have got married because my paranoia was a nightmare.

Don’t usually skip the gym but after yesterday’s nightmare journey I needed just to sleep that little bit longer 😴 ....and the day started so nice with a family breakfast 🥺

1. Flight at 14.35 from Frankfurt to Manchester.
.
.
2. Massive accident on autobahn. Miss flight. .
.
3. After much googling and deliberation, pay for totally overpriced new flights.
.
.
4. This flight has a stop in Brussels. .
.
5. Flight to Brussels is delayed so we are running late for connection. The second plane already starts boarding when we land.
.
.
6. Running across what feels like 2 miles to gate, boarding cards fall out of my pocket!
.
.
7. I run back and find boarding cards. .
.
8. Hitting massive queue at passport control approx 5 min left to get to gate. Gate changes from B08 to B030.
.
.
9. Hand luggage has to be checked in. Flight to Manchester is delayed.
.
.
10. Realising that all 3 seats are far away from each other including the one for our 5yo!
.
.
11. Arrive in Manchester but bridge isn’t working. Sit on hot plane for another 30min. .
12.Surprised all the luggage arrived - arrive home at midnight 🕛 .

Actually eating before weigh in which I NEVER do but I need it, I know I'm going to gain this week anyway and I'm drawing a line but also, my youngest has had me up since 5am 😴 I'm starting to get a huge headache because my body needs fuel, and I also really need to get myself into the routine of having 3 meals a day again. That's what helps me stay on track so it will help me get back on track! How To Train Triceps I.e Build Bigger Pipes❗️ 👇
_
1️⃣ They would maintain from training chest & shoulders alone, but unlikely to grow from indirect work alone past a beginner stage 
_
2️⃣ Narrow presses / dips & extensions 
_
3️⃣ 8-16 sets a week seems recoverable when gaining for most, mainly depending on how much pressing you do elsewhere
_
4️⃣ You would likely maintain on less dieting, as a 'safe' bet stick to 8 direct sets min 
_
5️⃣ Don't train the day before any pressing work, best suited to 'push days' or 'upper body days', you can have an 'arm day' but you should schedule a day off pressing the day before & after to recover
_
6️⃣ I've seen best results from presses between 6-10 reps 10-20 for extensions (feels safer)
_
7️⃣ Contraction is everything.. only use exercises you can get a good ‘squeeze’ 
_

5 TIPS I live by to set myself up for a productive & enjoyable week:👇🏻 1. MEAL PREPPING.🥗🥑🍠🍞Just recently got into this practice and it SAVES me throughout the week.🙌🏻 I’ve always spent hours each night making two different dinners for myself and Eric (as I’m plant-based & he’s not🙈) and now I get it ALL done for the week and don’t even have to think about it.😍🙌🏻 (PS...go watch my story for my meal prep this week & some healthy recipes🤗). 2. Write down weekly goals & make a checklist.📝 I love doing this. Is there a better feeling than checking something off a list?!😍 3. Write down 3 things you’re grateful that happen THAT DAY. Not just generic ‘I’m grateful for my family’, but things that happened/going to happen that day. (Depending on if you do it right away or at the end of the day)...I like to start my day doing this, just puts me in a positive mood.☺️ 5. MEDITATE. Like actual guided meditation. Has been a game changer for me lately. I’ve been loving using @calm app🧘🏻‍♀️
