#KETO / #CARNIVORE WILL WRECK YOUR #HORMONES ! Or so says Jillian Michaels and a bunch of others in the health space who clearly haven’t seen patients on #ketogenicdiets or read this article. This is a pretty cool study in which a #lowcarb (8% carbs) diet (ad-libitum=no calorie counting) was compared to a high carb diet (48% carbs) for 6 weeks, and numerous hormones (#thyroid , #insulin , #cortisol ) were measured along with body composition. RESULTS: Surprise, surprise! Insulin was much lower and body composition improved (fat loss & increased lean mass) on the low carb diet. Duh! What about other hormones? #T4 (thyroid) INCREASED, and there were no changes in testosterone or cortisol! 
PREVIOUS STUDIES WHICH SUGGEST ELEVATED CORTISOL ON KETO INVOLVE SALT LIMITATION (these are metabolic ward studies vs ad libitum feeding which allows for increased salt intakes). There’s no evidence that #stress hormones are elevated in humans on ketogenic diets as long as adequate #SALT is provided. Check out the Youtube video I did with @doctorfitandfab to learn about thyroid, the take home is that T3 may decrease on ketogenic diets (not measured in this study) but this is felt to represent increased tissue sensitivity since #TSH does not rise= no problem
TAKE HOME: NO your T won’t tank on a ketogenic diet. NO your thyroid won’t explode. NO your #adrenals won’t get fried. BUT you’ll probably lose fat, gain #muscle and become more insulin sensitive. Seems like a good deal to me. Pass the steak and liver.🥩💪🏼 #repost @paulsaladinomd

Looking from the window, thinking about my second test coming nearer and nearer, Stress blossomed in my stomach. 😣Since I’m kind of still new to university life, I can’t still get accustomed to it. 😢But I always thought like I’m not the only one but no matter what even if there’s no one to walk your way with you, you gotta walk forward. Flere undersøgelser viser, at smil og latter har masser af positive effekter på os mennesker. Et godt grin kan bl.a. være med til at sænke blodtrykket og få dine muskler til at slappe af. Derudover sendes der en masse endorfiner ud i kroppen og din opfattelse af stress og egne negative følelser falder betydeligt. 
Det mest fantastiske er, at kroppen ikke kender forskel på ægte og forceret grin. Så “fake it until you make it” virker altså her.

Although his name is Thunder; I do N O T think he enjoyed the thunder + lightening storm last night, poor bun-bun.🐰.

I actually brought him in and snuggled him during the worst of it, he fell asleep on me; but I was wearing some Peace + Calming oil so it doesn’t surprise me.  Actually when we brought him home from his mama + siblings I wore that oil also to help him feel safe + calm him down from the stress of the transition.  Interesting hey!?!🤔.

C’est une médecine alternative qui a pour objectif de transformer nos angoisses en pensées positives. Son efficacité se vérifie auprès du grand public. Il s’agit plus particulièrement d’un ensemble de pratiques relaxantes visant à dominer les sensations douloureuses psychiques (les phobies, les troubles du sommeil 🛌, les dépendances, le manque de confiance en soi, la dépression 🧟‍♀️, la gestion des émotions, la gestion du stress 😬…). Et parallèlement à cette démarche professionnelle, je souhaite partager avec vous mes bons plans « bien-être 🧘‍♀️ » à travers la méthode SMILE : Sport, Méditation, Inspiration, Lecture, Evasion.

Alors peut-être êtes-vous comme je l’étais, et peut-être vous posez-vous énormément de questions qui vous triturent le cerveau. Le problème, c’est que l’on a du mal à les exprimer car dans notre société, exprimer un mal-être est souvent perçu comme une faiblesse… Pour ma part, j’ai trouvé comment vaincre certaines de mes peurs :

A travers un métier que j’aime mais aussi à travers le fait de réaliser de nombreuses formations professionnelles et personnelles, des thérapies, des retraites, je vis des expériences uniques, des voyages, des rencontres atypiques, j’expérimente de nouveaux concepts sportifs… 🦸‍♀️
Aujourd’hui, mon objectif consiste à démocratiser cette démarche afin de la rendre évidente et utile pour chacun d’entre nous.

Es gibt keinen besseren Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und bei sich selbst anzukommen, als draußen in der Natur und besonders im Wald! Das wusste schon Erich Kästner:

Mit Bäumen kann man wie mit Brüdern reden und tauscht bei ihnen seine Seele um.
Die Wälder schweigen. Doch sie sind nicht stumm. Und wer auch kommen mag, sie trösten jeden.“

Deshalb nutze ich den Wald nicht nur regelmäßig für mein eigenes Wohlbefinden, sondern bei gutem Wetter oft und immer öfter, um mit Klienten Outdoorcoaching zu machen.

Aus der Gehirnforschung ist ja bekannt, dass sitzen völlig ungeeignet ist, um auf fruchtbare Gedanken zu kommen. Bewegung hingegen bringt unsere Gedanken in Fluss und weckt unseren Geist! Und im Wald werden wir noch zusätzlich von den heilenden Energien der Bäume und Pflanzen begleitet, ein zusätzlicher und unbezahlbarer positiver Nebeneffekt!

Eine Stunde regelmäßiger und bewusster Aufenthalt draußen in der Natur, es reicht gemütliches Spaziergehen, hat viele gesundheitsfördernde Effekte. Waldspaziergänge
🔸senken Blutdruck und die Herzfrequenz
🔸die Stresshormonausschütung von Cortisol und Adrenalin verringert sich,im Gegensatz zu einem Ausflug in der Stadt
🔸das vegetative Nervensystem beruhigt sich
🔸Glückshormone werden ausgeschüttet
🔸das Immunsystem wird angeregt uvm.
Forscher gehen davon aus, dass unter anderem sogenannte Phytonzyden eine Rolle dabei spielen könnten: Pflanzen bilden diese Substanzen, um sich vor Krankheitserregern und Schädlingen zu schützen. Spaziergänger im Wald kommen mit diesen Phytonzyden in Berührung und profitieren von dem stärkenden Effekt.

مدتي هست كه با حجم عجيبي از استرس دست و پنجه نرم ميكنم و هرروز سعي ميكنم با دقت و موشكافي به علت بروزش فكر كنم و هنوز دقيقا نميدونم چطور بايد كنترلش كنم و از كجا اومده.
ولي يه دليل محكم براش رو حرص و طمع زياد ميدونم. زندگي آنلاين و مدرن ما آدمهارو حريص كرده. ميخوايم همه كتابهارو بخونيم، همه فيلمها و سريالهارو ببينيم، توي چندتا زبان عالي باشيم، وقت واسه يوگا و مديتيشن بذاريم، وقت واسه ورزش و تغذيه سالم و هرروز آشپزي كردن و غذاي بيرون نخوردن بذاريم، حداقل ٨ ساعت بخوابيم، حداقل ٨ ليوان آب بخوريم، بولت جورنال و تودوليست و خاطره نويسي داشته باشيم، كلي سفر بريم و كلي كشور خارجي و جاهاي بكر داخلي رو ببينيم، كلي مهارت جانبي مثل درست كردن مو و آرايش و گلسر و بافتني و گلدوزي و همه اينارو بلد باشيم، درسهاي انلاين بگذرونيم و همه مباحث كامپيوتري جديد رو ياد بگيريم، وقت واسه مراقبتهاي پوستي و ضدافتاب و كرم دور چشم بذاريم، وقت واسه پادكست و كتاب صوتي بذاريم، وقت واسه چك اپ و دندون پزشكي و دكتر پوست و مو و ليزر و ماساژ و ارايشگاه بذاريم، ادم منظمي هم باشي و خونه و زندگيت و همه چيزت هميشه تميز و مرتب باشه، خودتم هميشه خوشتيپ و تميز باشي، نتورك كاري و روابط دوستانه خوب هم داشته باشي، موفقيت مالي و پس انداز براي اينده هم كه حتما، درعين حال كلي عكس هم بگيريم و هزارتا جا مثل فيس بوك و اينستا و غيره رو فالو كنيم و با همه رقابت كنيم، تو ازدواج و اپلاي و كار پيدا كردن و خونه خريدن و بچه دار شدن و ...
همه اينا در كنار يه كار يا درس فول تايم كه هدف زندگيتونه
و يه خونواده كه بايد براش وقت بذارين و دلخوشي اصليتونه
من امروز فهميديم نميشه همه اينارو صددرصد داشت، بعضياشون رو حتي نميشه يه درصد هم داشت، واقعيت اينه كه فقط ٢٤ ساعت وقت داريم كه ١٦ ساعتش براي فعاليته. 
از امروز به خودم قول ميدم اگه به ٢٠ درصد بعضي از اينا هم رسيدم از خودم راضي باشم. 
نميخوام سوپرهيومن باشم. ميخوام بدون استرس و آروم زندگي كنم. 
همه چيزايي كه نوشتم جذابن ولي آسودگي رو ترجيح ميدم.
براي كم كردن و كنترل استرس هرروز تلاش ميكنم. #stress #stressrelief #perfectionist #استرس #استرس_و_اضطراب #كمال_گرايي
