Felt exhausted and fatigued this morning. It was a good session nevertheless, but I’m already looking forward to the upcoming deload. Workout consisted Front squats, followed by light deadlifts, pull ups and bent over rows.

Let’s talk about it guys. I see a lot of people asking how to get rid of them. I also see some stating there are exercises that can do that. That’s a LIE. #hipdips are all due to your anatomy. You’re born with them. You can’t get rid of them without #plasticsurgery .

Growing up I hated my “hips”. I constantly looked up exercises to make my hips smaller. It didn’t matter how small I got I still had hips that “indented”. I avoided dresses because I thought they made them look worse.
.
Everyone you see in the media appears to have curves without “indents”. Even women who are “thick” don’t have them. I convinced myself mine looked so bad.
.
I still struggle with changing my mindset on them. I grew up my entire life wanting them to go away. I’m getting more and more confident with my body just the way it is, but it takes time.

In this picture I’m not flexing and I’m wearing light leggings that are from Marshall’s. When I wear black @lululemon leggings they show way less. This picture is real and how they look most of the time. I mean unless I’m not wearing anything then the stick out more 🤣

Just remember, everything we see isn’t what’s true. We all know our angles, wear the “right” clothes, and post what we want people to see. Don’t get caught up in trying to get someone’s body. We are all made perfect ❤️.

It’s just all a tad surreal my first ever powerlifting competition not so long ago and I received a European invite. Then last night I received my invite for the WORLDS for Team GB 🇬🇧 ! So excited, scared, anxious about it all but why be stuck in a comfort zone. This is new thing for me and a tad daunting because I don’t have experience or knowledge like all the other athletes from all over the world competing. In my world am still that mum of two young kids working full time and just trying to stay active never thought in a million years, I thought I would compete nevermind a straight invite to the worlds after doing my first competition. I am just so grateful to have all the OBS crew and can only do my best and get some experience if nothing else. Maybe Rectus Femoris doesn’t shut off like I want it to and stays jacked to the gills for the next 24-48 hours, causing knee to feel unhappy. Whatever it is, RFESS don’t give me the same experience. Rear leg hip flexors go on vacation, metabolites accumulate, tendons experience joy.

This can be done as an extra session away from normal lifting (6+ hours) so CNS stays sharp and tendons get a performance/health stimulus:
1) Band Assisted Jumps: 3 sets 10 reps, rest ~2 min. between sets

At the moment I’m doing almost like a hybrid version of conjugate programming for my training, and these 2 videos are a sample of some of today’s work

The first video was 2 sets of 5 eccentric SSB squats with 155 to prime the CNS. Second video is 3 sets of 4 with 275 for regular reps, to have some moderate weight on my back. 
The training is coming along nicely the way I want it to, and the come back is still in effect!!!!! #tomorrowistoday #thezone #strength #squats #workout #nodaysoff #love
