☀️The same voice that says “give up” can also be trained to say “keep going”...🤔 Got back out there this morning after a few days of post-race recovery.  It was hot🔥 and I was tired😴. ✨ Feeling really good ✨

A fun 2.1 mile run exploring the village and taking a new route! Was supposed to be taking it slowly but my body has clearly missed this running lark so I ended up going a lot faster than intended 🙈 I really enjoyed taking a new route and it just felt so peaceful to be running in this beautiful place. I saw a cute squirrel running along some telephone wires and I just felt at ease. I was working hard ish but I was flipping loving it. Nothing hurt, I felt weakness in my left knee and it didn’t feel “right” but I tried to focus on my posture and engaging my glutes. Nothing painful so I carried on and just enjoyed myself. I have honestly missed this so much and I hope that this is a new beginning of being able to run properly again after all the injury woes. I did a half mile cool down on top of the 2 miles I’d already done and then did a bit of stretching. My left knee felt quite bad afterwards and just felt really weird and not right. I sat and iced it and massaged it and it seems perfectly fine now so I’m hoping it was just a one off and I’d maybe pushed it a bit far. Must remember to ease myself back in and start upping the miles very very slowly 😊

I just wanted to share how happy and good I feel because I’m aware that a lot of my posts are me feeling quite sorry for myself regarding my injuries. I feel so good after the run and just feel like I’m getting back to myself again. Slowly, but I’m getting there. Running helps my mental health immeasurably and I’m very grateful for that ❤️

I tried something new today, cocoa steel cut oats! And it was delicious, I just added some cocoa powder and chocolate chips! I added some @tedpeanutbutter and almond honey granola🤩🤩 it was a perfect filling lunch!👍

Today is an off day, letting the legs get a little rest after the last 2 really pushing them hard. Slowly getting that mileage back up.
The new key I have found that is helping tremendously with preventing injuries is listening to my body, not my mind, the mind will play tricks on you, it will tell you to take it easy, when you dont need too, its wired that way, it dosent want to be uncomfortable, it wants easy.
Your body can push well beyond your mind, its an incredibly strong machine, with limits only put on by the mind. Finding balance is tricky but once you learn to read your body and know the difference between mind and body. It is truly amazing what you are capable of.

No creo que yo sea un ejemplo de nada, pero quiero enseñarles que los sueños se cumplen, que si trabajan duro podrán llegar donde ellos quieran, que los límites son mentales, que correr no es de cobardes y que cuando no puedes más, aún te queda fuerza para terminar lo que has empezado. .

Cada vez que se caigan, las cosas se pongan feas o tengan cualquier problema, estaré ahí para ellos, para levantarles, apoyarles o correr a su lado, porque son el mejor regalo que me ha dado la vida... mi familia. Yo no sería quien soy sin mis hermanas, mis sobris y especialmente mi madre. .

Quando conheci o Box @cr1fit  e o Super COACH Juliano percebi que estava no caminho certo.
O Ju exige sempre nosso máximo, porque ele sabe que o limite está apenas em nossa cabeça, nosso corpo é uma máquina e é capaz de realizar aquilo que jamais sequer imaginamos que podemos atingir!
Mas de fato, nunca tive em toda minha vida um profissional tão competente e qualificado como o Meu COACH Juliano, que hj já virou um amigo pessoal.

Today is a much needed and well-deserved rest day so I thought a little self-care was in order. I used my favorite tools, including the @intelliroll foam roller and @lifeprousa vibrating massage balls for some rolling and self-massage. That plus hanging out all day in my @oofos sandals and lots of doggy kisses ❤️ and I'm ready for a long run 🏃‍♀️ tomorrow!

Good afternoon!  I had a hard time keeping up with pacer bunny on my #run this morning, still feeling a bit wonky in the knee so I’ll be keeping the #running light for the next week or so.  It was last day of #swimming lessons and I managed ...1000 meters!!! Not too shabby for someone who was never a fan of swimming.  It has certainly helped with my endurance and breathing when running so I’ll be keeping this activity regular in my exercise regime.  Have a great afternoon, #getoutside #explore while the weather is gorgeous, and if you need me, I’ll be in my “mobile office” 🏃🏻‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️🐇💻 🌷🌤 #waterfronttrail #pickering #durhamregion #ontario  #lakeontario

🇮🇹 Guardando il mio feed si direbbe che sia sempre a correre, ma purtroppo almeno per 8 ore al giorno sono costretto ad essere una persona sedentaria. Dalla finestra del mio ufficio vedo sempre le colline delle Langhe e in punta alla collina c'è un albero. Sono solo poche centinaia di metri in linea d'aria, ma guardare la finestra dall'albero è decisamente meglio che guardare l'albero dalla finestra! 🇬🇧 Looking at my feed you would say that I'm always running, but unfortunately for at least 8 hours a day I am forced to be a sedentary person. From the window of my office I always see the hills of Langhe and at the top of the hill there is a tree. It's only a few hundred meters away, but looking at the window from the tree is far better than looking at the tree from the window!

Dalla finestra del mio ufficio vedo sempre le colline delle Langhe e in punta alla collina c'è un albero. 100% pure happiness from this girl! 🤪✌🏼4 years ago today I married my soulmate and celebrating us in Tahoe is one of my favorite traditions we do each year! It’s going to be hard to beat yesterday... it was literally the best day out on the lake ⛵️🥂, but we have big plans for a long bike ride, epic hike, dinner at lone eagle, and whatever else the day brings. Of course being the amazing wife that I am 😜 I started the day on one of my fav running trails while I let the hubby sleep in. Sweaty, sunny, and all smiles here!
