hey all ...lately i’ve been struggling with the idea that camhs control my life... but i’m not an object 😖 i am physically obviously weight restored but they change me target every week because they keep getting it wrong ...my target went up by 1kg last week because i was SHORTER than what they actually though 🙄🙄 surely that means that my target should go down since i’m shorter IM FED UP OF IT

also depression has been weird lately...i’m fine with my overall body and mental state but i just feel sad at random 😕😕 not sure what’s going on ?

I seriously love oats so much 💛 I eat them A-LOT okay 👌🏼 This is my favorite way, and first I’ll let you know that oats have slown digesting fiber.. that helps things move through comfortably 😉 Your girl got some crazy digestive issues, so I use Herbalife’s Simply Probiotic. I have #celiac disease and have had it for 28 years... I’ve tried so many probiotics. Usually I buy them (they’re not inexpensive btw), and they just overload my system and the end result is NOT good 🙅🏼‍♀️ Honestly, I was apprehensive to try this at first because I was scared it would be like the others, and nobody wants to relive that .. ever. Anyway .. looking back, I’m super glad I tried it and will always use it!! Super gentle, it’s a tasteless powder so I can put it in anything, and it’s not sensitive to heat or cold. Also it’s very affordable compared to some that I’ve purchased in the past. It’s really great, you guys! 🌿

Last saturday’s yummy breakfast was from @juicemocolombo at Independence. 
Went in there to have a fruit juice after a super intense workout. Ended up ordering the super yummy “green supreme” smoothie bowl made with avocado, oats and banana and a bowl of kadala.

Are you carb phobic?

I used to be. Big time.

Years ago (before I found fitness after 40), avoiding carbs helped me keep weight off. Period. It served me well. Until it didn’t.

I remember the first time I went for a 4 mile run as I was beginning to train for a half-marathon and got a RAGING headache afterward. A trainer friend asked me what I’d eaten before my run. And basically, it wasn’t much.

Fast forward to the work I did with @EmilyFieldRD over the last few years developing a macro counting and carb cycling plan that fit for the amount of fitness that fits me (which is currently 2 days BodyPump + 1 day Bootcamp + 1 day Bodyflow/Yoga and then a whole lot of just making sure days are as close as possible to 8-10K steps per day) and I’ve learned that I simply can’t feel good in a workout without carbs.

And it’s the best realization ever because SO many of the foods I love are carb-filled — like the strawberries, bananas and oatmeal shown here. I’m on vacation eating breakfast with my family and a few years ago I would’ve only chosen what I thought would be the most low-carb choice.

I still go for lower-carb, higher-protein choices all the time. But if I know I’m headed into the gym later today OR if frankly nothing lower-carb looks good to me, I have zero carb-guilt these days.

What’s the main message? If you’re a woman over 40 and you want to age moving your body and feeling your best, eating low-carb ALL the time may no longer be the answer.

Or it may. I can’t say for sure 🤷🏻‍♀️. I can say what works for me and you may find it works for you, too.

Honey + oats + fruit = a perfect time saver for any busy week. 😍💪🏻 No toppings or heating required. Check this out:

Ingredients:
~ 1/4 cup red quinoa
~ 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
~ 1 cup rolled oats
~ 2 cups unsweetened nut or soy milk
~ 3-4 tablespoons Nature Nate’s 100% Pure Honey
~ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
~ 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
~ 1/8 teaspoon mineral salt

Directions:
Combine all ingredients and place in a covered dish overnight in the refrigerator. Stir well before serving. Can be eaten cold or hot. If desired, serve with fresh fruit and toasted chopped walnuts or almonds.

Vanmorgen heb ik voor het eerst sinds tijden weer gemediteerd. Ik weet nog de eerste keer dat ik dat probeerde, met een app die me probeerde te focussen op m’n ademhaling... LACHWEKKEND 😂. Dus ik vanochtend weer proberen. Ik merk dat ik nu een ander gevoel ervan kreeg, ik voelde me mega opgewekt erna 💁🏼‍♀️. Dit past ook wel bij hoe ik de laatste tijd met mezelf bezig ben geweest, dat klinkt heel spiritueel, maar ik ben gewoon aan ‘t herontdekken wie ik ben en hoe ik naar de wereld kijk. Aangezien ik toch moet ‘wachten’ tot ik aan het werk kan, leek me dit het ideale moment. Sorry voor alle persoonlijke ontwikkelingen, terug naar het ontbijt vd dag! Havermout, met alles wat je op de foto kan zien: mango, chocola, soja yoghurt en pindakaas! 💚Nog 1 dagje echt warm weer, dus goed aan jezelf denken🥰. .

So this morning I gave it another go and it was very calming leaving me energized afterwards 💁🏼‍♀️. This does resonate well with how I’ve been feeling lately, as I’ve been ‘working on myself’, which sounds very spiritual but I assure you it isn’t. I’m just reconnecting with who I am and how I view the world. Since I had to wait before my PhD starts, I figured this would be as good a time as any. Sorry for all the personal developments, onward to the breakfast of today! Oats with all you can see in the picture; mango, chocolate, soy yoghurt and PB! 💚 Enjoy your day 🥰.

So it’s my birthday today. I’m 23. 
I think it’s really important to remind people that not everyone has a group of friends to celebrate with. I’m spending my birthday alone this year. Not with family or with friends, just me. 
I’d like to remind people that having friends is a privilege, NOT something everyone has. Be grateful for the small things. I’m grateful that I am able to start my morning every morning with a delicious breakfast. What are you grateful for?

Bom dia 😃 Sei que tenho andado desaparecida mas não podia deixar de vir aqui mostrar esta invenção matinal!Queijadinhas de cenoura e laranja 🥕🍊 São ideais para quem não tem muito tempo para cozinhar. 📝 Receita:
1 ovo L
70 g de queijo fresco @queijos.santiago 
40 g cenoura ralada (muito fina) 
Raspa de uma laranja (muito fina)
30/35 g de polvilho doce
Canela 
Drops de baunilha (podem usar mel, adoçantes, açúcar)
Levar ao microondas 5 min a 850 W (pode variar). A consistência fica húmida tipo queijada.

🍲 OWSIANKĘ Z MORELAMI I PESTKAMI DYNI 🍲
Płatki gotuję na mleku (jeśli akurat macie - mleko migdałowe świetnie tu pasuje 👌), ale równie pysznie wychodzi na tradycyjnym, z dodatkiem miodu 🍯 i szczyptą soli. Na wierzch łyżka jogurtu naturalnego, podprażone dosłownie minutę na suchej patelni pestki dyni oraz królowa tego śniadania czyli soczysta morela 👑

A w wolnej chwili polecam zajrzeć do dziewczyn z @kobiecafotoszkola, bo dzisiejszy #instawtorek zalała fala cudownych letnich widoków, zachodów słońca i fotografii z pięknych miejsc 👌 I polecam od jutra wpadać na Instastory, bo u mnie też będzie duuuzo pięknych widoków #uciekamywsinądal
