Here's what @dana.kaskas had to say about her journey :.

𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟱: I hurt my back and discovered i got 3 degenerated discs, one of them bulging on my right sciatic nerve. Unbearable pain. Doctor said the only way to get rid of the pain was through surgery... that liar. I did a 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆 (endoscopic). Reached 88 kilos (cortisol killed me 😒).

𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟲-𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳: Pain through my right leg never went away 😩. Went down to 65 kilos (knowing im 185 cm tall). Thought the more i lost weight, the less pain i’d feel...so i barely ate. Man, was i wrong 😅. I had a straight back, severe posterior pelvic tilt, my hamstrings were too tight, and my sciatic nerve was pretty much damaged.

𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟴: Started taking PT sessions with Ali. 4 times a week for almost a year now. I had regular training focused on low intensity muscle strengthening (i did shed a tear once or twice... thanks Aloush😁). He recommended how to eat. I ate A LOT! I’m now 72 kilos, super healthy, got rid of my posterior pelvic tilt, haven’t felt any pain in 7 months months now 😊

What you don't know behind this story is that there's several doctors that kept telling Dana not to train at all and take medicine( basically let her rust at home )

Your pain is solvable. just like i overcame mine, and many other clients that are now self aware and know what to do and how to react when pain appears.

I felt good with my rounds tonight. I committed myself to going five rounds. I was honestly struggling after the third round but I got my second wind after a little extended rest period before my fourth round then finally finished a fifth. They’re called “Power 5” for a reason.

Thankful. Grateful. Blessed.
I’m only getting stronger.

As a sports physician, we advice regarding the benefits of exercise and injury prevention. But being a CSCS at the same time, give me the ability to speak the language better with athletes. When they voice out their concerns, i get them. Like when a powerlifter tells me he has difficulty doing a high bar squat, I immediately know what are the possible issues because i understand the movement pattern.. And i can give advice on how to fix them and even perform them.
Now that builds trust and confidence in what I say and do.. And that knowledge and experience is my strength as a sports physician. @fitness_innovations_malaysia

К данной группе мышц относятся:
1️⃣ Напрягатель широкой фасции (благодаря ее действию бедренная кость лучше противостоит боковым нагрузкам и становится менее подверженной переломам),
2️⃣ Средняя и малая ягодичные.
Так же в растяжке и в упражнениях совместно с этими мышцами участвуют: 
3️⃣ Квадратная мышца поясницы,
4️⃣ Косая мышца живота,
5️⃣ Портняжная мышца.

☝️Данная группа в основном относится к ТОНИЧЕСКИМ мышцам, склонным к укорочению, требуется регулярная растяжка и массаж.
.
☝️Некоторые спортсмены ощущают во время бега, ходьбы, что у них в ноге что то цепляется за выступы бедренной кости. Причина этого феномена заключается в том, что подвздошно-большеберцовый тракт проходит в непосредственной близости от большого вертела и может тереться о него.
.
☝️Восполительный процесс из за постоянного трения подвздошно-большеберцового тракта может возникнуть и в области колена за счёт кривизны ног, направленной наружу. Как правило, этому подвержены бегуны на длинные дистанции, которые многократно и непрерывно производят потенциально вредные движения.
.
☝️Серьезного лечения, как правило, не требуется. Лишь когда воспаляется синовиальный сумка в области большого вертела, используются консервативные методы, типа прикладывании льда, покоя, ультразвука, а так же снижении интенсивности тренировок и изменение техники движений (бега, ходьбы, велодвижений...).
.
🆘 Такие упражнения могут служить профилактикой к следующим травмам:
- синдром илиотибиального тракта
- вертлужный бурсит
.

This is a conversation I have had with a few clients recently and something I have been working on myself

Everyone has their end goal the one big thing they want to achieve for many people I see that is to get out of pain!

But they want it to happen now and most of the time that just isn’t going to happen‼️

You need to ask yourself what can you do every day to “ move the needle” and take yourself one step closer to that end goal the daily tasks and habits you build will ensure that you reach the end goal you are striving for 🔥

It is a common misconception that you have to work your abs a lot in order to have abs.

In reality, everyone has a beautiful set of abs underneath their fat.

By working out your abs, you can make them bigger and sharper, but you will not be able to see them unless you have low enough body fat.

A lot of people say abs are made in the gym, but what I like to say is: Abs are made in the gym, and revealed in the kitchen.

📕Special K, often promoted as the healthy cereal that can make you lose weight. As you can see from the calories figures above, there is a very insignificant difference between these two cereals. The ‘healthier’ Special K cereal also has 8g more sugar per 60g serving than the new coco pops recipe! 
This is a good example of marketing strategies designed to mislead.

LET'S TALK UNILATERAL TRAINING!
So for those who don't know, unilateral training involves training one side of the body at a time or working with asymmetry, requiring a repeat on the 2nd side. As a dancer, we repeat all exercises on both sides, constantly working unilaterally to ensure we can execute any choreography given to us, whether it be a right leg or left leg kick. However, we all have a dominant side to our body whether we realise or not. This can often create compensations and lack of awareness. The wonderful thing about unilateral work is that it will highlight your weak areas, a humbling but important experience! Inspired as ever by @timblakey_pr1me, I've included one of his quotes below from the @trx_uk blog for those wanting to understand a little further!

"Often a deficit of movement on one side is not solely due to restriction from specific shortened tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia), but instead by our own neurological system not having the confidence or experience of allowing particular movement patterns on one side (again, these can be hidden in bilateral exercises)." -

Here is fun 90-90 option to challenge the hips

Keys:
- Lift the back foot up to start (hip internal rotation)
- When going into knee extension maintain the same hip angle, fight hard to keep the knee from dropping
___
Add 3 sets of 3-5 reps of this the next time you are working the 90-90 position.
