Frozen Yogurt for Weight Loss! 🍦

I’ve been binging and craving for ice cream for the past 2 weeks because the weather here in the 🇵🇭 is insufferably hot! ☄️ So I made this.

What you need:
1 cup Greek Yogurt
1 frozen Ripe Mango
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp crushed Almonds (for topping)

How to do it:
Put all ingredients on a food processor or blender. Once you got a creamy thick mixture, put it into a container, sprinkle the topping and freeze for at least two hours.

Ripe mango is too sweet for me so I didn’t add honey. It’s optional. My next frozen yogurt recipe is chocolate and strawberry. 🍓

J’espère que vous allez tous bien ! Perso j’ai pas été très en forme depuis mardi soir... Je crois qu’il doit y avoir une petite merdouille dans l’aire 🤔 Mais aujourd’hui ça va quand même mieux qu’hier 🤞🏻

Depuis quelques temps, j’ai remarqué que j’avais tendance à manger moins pendant mes repas, pour pouvoir manger plus de merdes ensuite (bonbons, chocolats, biscuits...). Et ça a eu d’hyper mauvaises répercussions. Déjà sur mon moral, parceque ça m’énerve de ne pas manger sainement. Et le sucre appelle le sucre, et donc j’ai fais quelques crises de bouffe, en mode si je termine pas tout mes placards ça va pas le faire...
.
Du coup, j’ai pris une décision, et je vais faire une sorte de « detox » du sucre pendant les prochaines semaines. Je vais vraiment éviter un maximum. De manière à me « remettre sur le droit chemin ».
.
C’est frustrant, parceque ça me fait juste constater que ces foutues TCA restent la, comme en stand-by, et qu’a la moindre faiblesse, je me les reprends en pleine face. Ça me fait vraiment chier...
.
Mais heureusement, j’sais que je peux en parler avec mon copain, ou avec vous ici, et ça m’aide vraiment à passer au dessus et réussir à reprendre mes bonnes habitudes...

J’espère que vous allez tous bien ! Perso j’ai pas été très en forme depuis mardi soir... Je crois qu’il doit y avoir une petite merdouille dans l’aire 🤔 Mais aujourd’hui ça va quand même mieux qu’hier 🤞🏻

Depuis quelques temps, j’ai remarqué que j’avais tendance à manger moins pendant mes repas, pour pouvoir manger plus de merdes ensuite (bonbons, chocolats, biscuits...). Et ça a eu d’hyper mauvaises répercussions. Déjà sur mon moral, parceque ça m’énerve de ne pas manger sainement. Et le sucre appelle le sucre, et donc j’ai fais quelques crises de bouffe, en mode si je termine pas tout mes placards ça va pas le faire...

Du coup, j’ai pris une décision, et je vais faire une sorte de « detox » du sucre pendant les prochaines semaines. Je vais vraiment éviter un maximum. De manière à me « remettre sur le droit chemin ».

C’est frustrant, parceque ça me fait juste constater que ces foutues TCA restent la, comme en stand-by, et qu’a la moindre faiblesse, je me les reprends en pleine face. Ça me fait vraiment chier...
.
Mais heureusement, j’sais que je peux en parler avec mon copain, ou avec vous ici, et ça m’aide vraiment à passer au dessus et réussir à reprendre mes bonnes habitudes...

Somedays it felt like progress was so slow that it wasn’t even worth it. Like nothing was ever going to change... like I was never going to change. It seemed like every good for me choice I made was washed out by weekends full of over indulgence. When I looked in the mirror I continued to see the same woman from day one staring back at me. Most of the time she smiled, sometimes she felt ashamed and often she was discouraged by everything that remained the same. I kept crawling along though… trusting the process, celebrating non scale victories, dissecting my demons and pushing myself further each time I fell off track. Somewhere along the way I stopped worrying about things I couldn’t control. My goals switched from weight loss to aspirations of unconditional self-love. Instead of looking in the mirror and scrutinizing everything I wasn’t, I applauded everything I was. I held my head high and wore my self confidence proudly. And slowly, everything changed.... I changed… and the weight loss followed ♥️

Keto Meal Prep🍱

🛒 Ingredients:⁣
- 3lbs Chicken Thighs 🍗⁣
- 3lbs Broccoli 🥦⁣
- 5 tbls Grass Fed Butter.⁣
- 4 Garlic Cloves.⁣
- 2 tsp Paprika.⁣
- Pink Salt.⁣
- Pepper.⁣
- Juice of 1 Lemon 🍋⁣
- 1 Cup Chicken Stock.⁣
- Optional: 1/2 Cup Fresh Parsley.⁣
______________________________________________⁣⠀
👩🏼‍🍳 Directions:⁣
1. In a bowl, combine paprika, salt and pepper. Season the chicken and set aside.⁣
2. Heat a large skillet on medium heat with half 3 tbls of butter. Evenly lay the chicken thighs in a single layer. Cook for 5-6 min on each side.⁣
3. Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate. Then, in the same skillet, lower the heat and melt the remaining butter. Add parsley and garlic and cook for a few minutes. Then add in your chicken stock and lemon then reduce the sauce for a few minutes.⁣
4. Add back in the chicken thighs and reheat. Add additional squeezed lemon on top and butter.⁣
5. Get your meal prep containers out and add in your cooked broccoli, rice of choice and chicken!👌🏻⁣

CHICKEN, CUCUMBER, TOMATO & AVOCADO SALAD 🥑

12-14 oz. boneless skinless chicken tenders (or chicken breast sliced ½ inch thick)
1-1 ½ tablespoon olive oil to grease the pan
For Marinade/Dressing:
2 ½ tablespoons olive oil
1 ½ tablespoons water
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (2 small lemons)
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried parsley
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/8-1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For salad:
1 large avocado-diced
1 cucumber -diced
about 1 ½-2 cups cherry tomatoes-halved
1 small-medium red onion- sliced
2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese- to sprinkle on top if desired
First, in a medium bowl combine all ingredients for marinade/dressing and stir well.
Reserve half of the mixture for later use as salad dressing (cover and store in the fridge).
Now, place chicken tenders in remaining mixture and flip the chicken to coat well, then, cover the bowl and place in the fridge to marinate for at least 15-20 minutes.
Grease grilling pan with olive oil, heat over medium high heat and grill the chicken a few minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked completely. Cool for a few minutes, then chop the chicken in bite size pieces.
In a large bowl combine diced avocado, cucumber, sliced cherry tomatoes, red onion and chopped chicken, pour reserved dressing over the salad ingredients, stir well and serve. 📷 @fithealthyrecipes .
