I forgot the girls were off today from school, and we have a marathon session of egg dyeing planned. I’m trying to use natural ingredients to color the Easter eggs for the first time this year. I think a cocktail is in order. How does a Rhubarb Mojito sound? Don’t worry I’ve got a Paas kit just in case. ⠀

Rhubarb Mojito⠀
1/2 lime cut into pieces and some wedges for garnish⠀
5-6 mint leaves ⠀
Ice ⠀
2 ounces vodka ⠀
1 ounce triple sec ⠀
2 ounces Rhubarb Syrup (recipe below)⠀
1 poached rhubarb stalk⠀
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the lime pieces and mint. Add ice, vodka, triple sec and rhubarb syrup. Shake well. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with the lime, mint and rhubarb.⠀

1 lb. chopped rhubarb stalks ⠀
1 cup sugar ⠀
1 cup water⠀
1/2 vanilla bean scrapped⠀
Zest 1 orange⠀
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, water, vanilla bean and zest. Bring to a boil. Add rhubarb and lower the temperature to a gentle simmer. Cook for 7-8 minutes. Strain off most of the syrup and refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Reserve the remaining syrup and poached rhubarb to serve over yogurt, cake or your favorite dessert.

Woohoo i freaking love this yummyness 😍 The flowers are in and that means vegan honey making time 😍

It's soooo freaking easy to make, it just takes a long damn time 😂 lmao.

For this i used 35 flowers (only the heads)
10 vild violets
2 apples
1 lemon
Cooked in 1 L water
Stain it and add 10 dl sugar
Cook on low heat until it's starts to thicken (it gets more Thick when cold!)
I think i have around 5-6 dl vegan honey 
Happy easter everyone 😘

One of my favourite hobbies is making my own Cakes for my family's birthdays and special days! This one, prepared for Easter, was a special request from my daughter who loves bunnies ❤🐰👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🙋.

Sarà, ma a me manca il colore degli alberi in Alto Adige ad ottobre, il calore dei pasti che confortano dopo una giornata passata a girovagare con il vento freddo che ti pizzica le guance!
Poi mi rendo conto che mi manca proprio l’Alto Adige, con le sue tradizioni gastronomiche, lo speck servito con cetriolini e crema di rafano (a me viene sempre in mente @stefanocavada quando parlo di speck!!) e la vista delle dolomiti così imponenti che fanno da cornice alle meravigliose cittadine piene di cani scodinzolanti e persone serene! 
Quindi scrivo un messaggio alla mia amica @annasfreak e la supplico di riportarmi lì! 
Però ad ogni cosa il suo tempo, adesso è Pasqua, la primavera irrompe, gli impegni anche... Sento già le colleghe che parlano di vacanze estive, di viaggi e di giornate al mare! Io penso invece a vivere giorno per giorno, nella speranza che prima o poi io riesca a vivere quella vita #alritmolentodellestagioni che desidero tanto! 
Ormai la maggior parte di voi è ufficialmente in modalità ponte lungo!! E allora buona Pasqua e buon riposo a tutti quanti!! 🥰

Der Seitan war selbst gemacht und hatte eine tolle Textur die Fleisch sehr nahe kommt.
Es ist wirklich schnell selbst gemacht (20 Minuten) und echt lecker!😉

Mixul pentru tempura de la @bluedragon.romania  este foarte simplu de folosit. Trebuie doar să adăugați 225 ml de apă. Nu e nevoie de nimic altceva. În plus, e o rețetă vegetariană.

Happy Friday! These Easter COOKIE cakes 🍪🍰 are the perfect weekend project for you and your kids to create and no joke, it’ll take you about an hour from start to finish! 🐰🥕🐥
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
METHOD:
Use the sugar cookie recipe off my blog but HALF the recipe and instead of rolling and cutting it into shapes, simply press thirds into a 6” Cake pan lined with parchment. Bake at 350* for approximately 18-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown- it’s best if they’re slightly under baked!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For the icing:
1c vegan butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp coconut extract
3 cups icing sugar
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Add all of the ingredients in a mixer with the whisk attachment and gradually increase speed until you can whip at med/high speed without all the icing FLOOFing everywhere 😂
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To decorate:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mix some green food coloring (I used a combo of @americolor’s turquoise and leaf green! 🍃) and fill a piping bag fitted with a @wiltoncakes 6B open star tip.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Pipe the entire surface and then decorate with some cute sprinkles like these bunny, carrots, chicks and eggs! (Available at @scoopnsave!)

Das müsst ihr ausprobieren, das merkt keiner, dass diese Lasagne vegan ist!

Ich habe Karfreitag schon immer fleischfrei gegessen aber noch nie so. Spontan habe ich mich für Lasagne entschieden, weil ich einfach mal dieses Tofu Hack ausprobieren wollte. .

My 8 year old Daughter  is going  to be a princess in the Miss New York Pageant June 8th. Her contestant Michelle Ley is such a lovely, extremely talented young woman and wonderful role model. Em is soo excited. I asked what she wanted  to celebrate  and she asked to make Ina Gartens flag cake to bring to Michelle 🤣❤❤. I dont think we can bring a  giant sheet cake on the long drive, but we made it anyways to celebrate with family here and show Michelle the picture.  Its so yummy and festive and fun... NEW WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT! I've tried and tested it this evening! Go for an evening stroll when midgies are rife. I've lost so much weight in the last half hour, they've eaten me alive. I've also exercised more by doing kung fu panda moves trying to get them away from my face. Sourdough hot cross buns came out very well. Another sourdough recipe saved. Sourdough croissants have been on my mind...I’ll get to that soon...I was telling someone that I bake by feel, smell, and sight. By this I mean that I can bake bread with a blindfold. When baking by feel, I don’t measure. I just feel the dough to know the right texture to work with. When baking by smell, I don’t time. I just follow the aroma of each stage...

Nothing like #homemade 
Today I am making cashew milk. Creamy, dense and nutritious. Back home, when I first stopped eating (and drinking!) animal products, I used to make my own almond milk. Plant-based was so unusual that our stores did not carry anything but cows milk. Sigh. ( These memories make me feel old! 😳) But I never made cashew milk before. What's your favourite plant-based milk?

We will celebrate Easter next week but I wish a very happy Easter to all of who celebrate it this Sunday 🤗 I really love this pic that I made two years ago, it reminds me of the fact that simple things are the most beautiful and that nature give us the most amazing gifts like this free range gorgeous eggs, back then I had almost zero props and a piece of cardboard for my pics 🙈 I am really grateful for everything I have now 🙏 Will spend the evening making chocolate and peanutbutter cookies for some friends that are getting married tomorrow, yay 😍 .

Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Pumpkin Seed Dukkah. This soup is perfect for a chilly day like today. The Dukkah adds a bit of crunch, spice and heat to the soup. 
Soup:
Olive oil or Avocado oil or coconut oil
Sea salt
Pepper
Crushed red pepper
1 Butternut Squash, peel & cut into cubes
1 Large Sweet Potato, peel & cut into cubes
3 Carrots, peel & slice
1/2 Red Onion, thickly sliced
1/2 t turmeric powder
1 T tomato paste 
2 - 32 oz boxes Vegetable Stock
Toss your vegetables with oil and salt & pepper and roast at 400 until the edges are getting slightly browned. Heat your soup pot and add 2-3 T oil and 1/4 t salt, 1/4 t Pepper & 1/4 t crushed red pepper. Stir to infuse the oil with the spices. Add the roasted vegetables and mix with the oil. Add the stock and bring to a boil. Turn the heat down and simmer for about 15 min. Remove from the heat. Carefully using an Immersion blender purée the soup. Make sure you keep the blender submerged in the soup so it doesn't splatter and burn your hand. Purée until your desired consistency. Sprinkle with the Pumpkin Seed Dukkah and enjoy! 
Dukkah:
2 T raw pumpkin seeds 
2 T raw sunflower seeds 
1/2 t fennel seeds
1/8 t cumin seeds
1/8 t black peppercorns 
1/4 t dried thyme 
1/4 t sea salt
Place all in small skillet and over a low heat toast for a few min. stirring to avoid burning the seeds. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Then add to a mini food processor to chop until you have small bits. You can keep any leftover Dukkah in a jar. .

Today's lunch bag included granola bars instead of the healthy carrot cookie bar.  Got to switch things up a little, right?

Yummy delicious homemade granola bars, fresh from the freezer and right into the lunch bags. Oats, pistachios, almonds, shredded coconuts, dried mangos and sweetened with honey and dates.  It's been a busy week so a lot of things came from the freezer but I'm not complaining cause it's FRIDAY!!! Going to enjoy someone else's cooking and baking tomorrow. Yeah!!! What about you, do you have any plans for this Easter weekend?

Ha hiszitek, ha nem, ez egy full egyszerű, de mégis látványos süti! Ezeket a linzerket évek óta sütöm, most éppen citromos-gyömbéres töltelékkel, tojás alakban (ami látom idén nagy sláger)! 🥚🙃 Úgy marad szép formája, ha rajta hagyjátok a tojásalakú kiszúrót és úgy szúrjátok ki a közepén a lyukat, mert akkor tuti nem fog deformálódni! My favorite way to cook potatoes😋😍🥔 so cruchy  and so yummy 
We need 3 potatoes, 2 pieces of cheese 0%fat  salt, pepper, olive oil, basil, chilli, chive mix all the ingredients, we make small  potatoes balls with a piece of cheese inside . - This small, rustic restaurant has become my favourite Italian eatery. The service (7/10) was good, considering it was a packed out restaurant. The staff were polite and the food was served fairly quickly. The food (7.5/10) was full of flavour and definitely fresh. With such a wide selection of dishes on offer, it was so hard to choose what to order, but I will most definitely be back to try more of the menu. ⁣⁣
