What’s in your shake? I can’t imagine not going a day without mine!! Not only does  it have protein in it, but I get healthy fats, omega 3s, trace minerals and dietary fibre which my body needs!!! And they taste delicious because they are sweetened naturally from stevia. There is nothing worse that drinking a shake that tastes awful!!!

2 jalapeños, 1 minced and 1 thinly sliced
1 tsp. garlic powder

1. Preheat oven to 375°.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until slightly browned but still pliable. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, sour cream, cheeses, minced jalapeño and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Using nonstick cooking spray, grease a muffin tin. Line each well with one slice of bacon, then pour egg mixture into each muffin cup until about two-thirds of the way to the top. Top each muffin with a jalapeño slice.
5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the eggs no longer look wet. Cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin. Serve.

Matcha cheese tart (vegan, raw, gluten-free & refined sugar-free)💚💚💚
Great recipe by @nm_meiyee 😋💚
This smooth and creamy matcha cheese tart is raw, vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free. It's healthy, incredibly delicious. So simple and easy to make, too!

Ingredients
crust
1 1/2 cups gluten-free rolled oat
1/2 cup almonds
3 tbsp cocoa powder
10 dates, pitted
3 tbsp coconut oil
matcha cheese filling
1 1/2 cups cashew, soaked
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
80g cacao butter, melted i used @bigtreefarms
1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
1 1/2 tbsp matcha powder

Instructions
1. Grease a 8-inch tart tin with a removable bottom with coconut oil.

2. In a food processor combine oats, almonds until coarsely ground. Add dates, coconut oil and cocoa powder pulse until mixture looks like wet sand.

3. Firmly press the mixture into the bottom and sides of the prepared tart tin. Place in the freezer to set while you work with your filling.

4. In a food processor, add the coconut cream, cashews , matcha, melted cacao butter, and maple syrup. Process until silky smooth.

5. Pour the filling into the crust. Place tart in the freezer to set, about 2 hours. Garnish the top with fresh fruits. Slice and serve.

This Mediterranean Pasta Salad is SO refreshing and takes as long as it takes pasta to boil ⏱ to assemble. Bonus: it’s great for that #guthealth because of all the high-quality (omega-3) fats from the olives + olive oil in the dressing. This type of fat has even been linked to reduction of DEPRESSION - how amazing is that ‼️

- heirloom tomatoes
- red onion
- black olives

3) Giving my child multivitamin daily make he/She nutritionally fit. 
Fact; it's good to give multivitamin but this doesn't make the child nutritional fit and shouldn't replace, fruits and vegetables in the child's meal

Some leftovers from last night remixed as a salad and topped with a duck egg.

In the salad I have -
• 2 spring onions
• 100g of leftover roast chicken
• 1/2 pak Choi • 100g steamed broccoli
• 1/2 courgette spiralised •  large spoonful of homemade kimchi • 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds

Dressing for two portions -

The Oral Contraceptive Pill is not  just used for family planning but to help regulate periods, cure acne and reduce symptoms of PCOS. 
Statins used to lower cholesterol. 
It’s truly frightening and mind blowing what people swallow daily without thinking of side effects or having a detailed discussion with the prescriber.After years in Midwifery I can honestly say only in the last few years I have really become curious around prescribed medication .Firstly because I studied Naturopathic Nutrition and secondly I regularly meet people who feel medication is not helping them. 
Taking the Pill as the author writes is seen like any female ritual eg shaving your legs. 
This is where the big problem lyes I feel. Not one treatment fits everyone.If women were educated more on how important their monthly cycle is for their overall health , encouraged to trust and love their bodies more they may opt out of taking the pill and probably avoid problems like depression ,mood swings , high blood pressure &problems resuming a natural period later on .

As for Statins I feel slowly people are realising that SUGAR and STRESS are bigger culprits than healthy fats . The saturated fat in your organic butter, mackerel , even the occasional steak is not as awful as we were led to believe. TRANSFATS are the ones that are found in deep fried and processed foods are the real culprits together with the sugar and stress. These are what make our arteries damaged and sticky stopping the flow of cholesterol around the body. 
I didn’t mean to write such a long post. 
Be curious about medications and how they work. I m not against them and actually take some!

1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
Handful of raw walnuts
2 tbsp ground flaxseed (optional) ★

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Whisk the eggs and then add in almond butter, honey or maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla. Mix well. Add almond flour, carrots, baking soda, cinnamon, sea salt, ground flaxseed, and walnuts and mix until everything is evenly combined. Pour into lined or greased muffin tins and bake for 18-20 minutes. Store in the fridge or freezer. 🤩🥕

- 1 tsp baking soda

- 1 heaping scoop of Vanilla Collagen
*Optional: Unsweetened chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
2. Mix with an electric or stand mixer whole eggs, egg white, and baking soda until peaks form. Add cashew butter and vanilla collagen and continue mixing a few minutes.
3. Stir in desired amount of chocolate chips and pour batter into desired cake pan, cupcake tins, or bread loaf pan.
4. Baking time will vary depending on type of pan you use. Larger pans will take longer while cupcake tins will take the least amount of time. (15 – 25 minutes) I used these mini springform pans and baked them for about 20 minutes.

That was my last meal I had at home before we were headed to the airport to leave for our holidays ☀️🌴😍 I prepared something using all of the leftovers from the fridge. Roasted potatoes, grilled chicken breast, cherry tomatoes and avocado 🥑🍅🥔 Healthy, delicious and quick. But starting from today there will be no cooking and no meal prepping, only enjoying the vacation and all of the amazing food that our hotel cooks will serve 👩🏼‍🍳 Can’t complain 🤗 !!

Monday morning plate date with this breakfast bunch 🙆‍♀️ I usually like to top my english muffins with peanut butter or avocado, but today I went with plain garlic ghee, and those crispy, buttery edges were so satisfying! 😋.

#whatsonmyplate: fluffy scrambled eggs 🍳 (I receive lots of questions about these 👉🏻beat two eggs well, then add them to a hot, greased pan (I usually add about 1 tsp. garlic ghee, but you can use butter or oil). Let them set around the edges, approx. 10-15 seconds, and then fold inward with a rubber spatula using soft, wide strokes. The key is to not over-stir or over-cook them. Cooking time is usually about 30 seconds 🍳) •• sautéed spinach w/ red pepper & parmesan 🌿🌶•• @mikeys plain grain-free English muffin, toasted and topped with @fourthandheart garlic ghee •• farmer’s market strawberries 🍓.
