REALTALK: Ich genüge aktuell einfach überhaupt nicht den Ansprüchen, die ich an mich selbst habe.

Das kann vielleicht keiner nachvollziehen, aber ich fühle mich super unwohl mit meinem Aussehen.

Durch die Rückenprobleme und die dadurch eingeschränkten Trainingeinheiten, habe ich einen krassen Rückschritt gemacht. Ich habe ca. 2,5kg verloren. Hauptsächlich Muskelmasse wie ich denke... Ich hasse Sommer sowieso & diesen Sommer ist es noch schlimmer... Ich hoffe einfach, dass der Sommer schnell vorbei ist... Muscular Endurance Leg Day 
I don’t feel like muscular endurance gets enough glory. Our every day lives and most sports require muscular endurance. Rarely do I need to lift a truck off someone, but I do need to carry and lift my kids all day long, have energy to do my workouts, work and have energy to repeat this cycle every single day. Muscular endurance is the ability of a muscle or group of muscles to repeatedly exert force  against resistance. When working muscular endurance you want to work more slow and controlled. Think time under tension. Working 8-10 reps and above. Take shorter breaks in between exercises. Let’s say about 30 seconds as opposed to 2-4 minutes when working on muscular strength or power. Just because we are doing more reps, slow and controlled does NOT mean it’s going to be an EASY weight. You are working on maintaining that compete body control and tension for an extended amount of time. 
1️⃣A. Banded SLD - 15 reps 
1️⃣B. Alternating balance lunge - 15 reps each leg 
Rest 30 seconds in between each exercise complete 3 rounds 
2️⃣A. Squats 12 reps 
2️⃣B. Alternating lateral angle step ups 10 reps each leg 
2️⃣C. Alternating single leg hamstring curls on the exercise ball 10 reps total 
2️⃣D. Glute bridges 20-25 reps 
Complete 3-4 rounds of this giant set, resting 30 seconds in between each exercise. 
I started this workout with a run to get warmed up and ready to go. .

If there is one exercise we are strong on, chances are it is the leg curl, a machine that gets used by many of us. Lie down on any leg-curl machine and you can just keep pulling 🤷🏻‍♀️Well, that is good, but it can also be bad if you allow yourself to loose tekkers..Hamstrings in general are pretty powerful. You can pull a lot with your hamstrings, but when it comes to the leg curl, you have to remember that it is an isolation exercise. Some may try to turn it into a compound, multi-joint exercise, by raising their hips off the bench as they curl the weight even though it is only supposed to be an isolation move. Even though you might be able to curl more weight or do a few extra reps with that kind of hip action, you are actually making the exercise easier because you are removing the work form the hammies and we want them to fire up 🔥...

The key is to imagine that you have glued your hips to the bench throughout the set (or have someone hold your hips down like I am with my client, to feel the difference when actually focusing on pushing your hips into the pad) . Although you may need to lower the weight in order to achieve proper form, your hamstrings will still bear most of it, which is what you really want anyway. In fact, if you want another way to burn the hams and glutes without cheating the lift, then after you have curled the weight up and your heels nearly touch your glutes, try raising your quads an inch or so off the bench. That small movement will help burn your upper hams and glutes even more without sacrificing tekkers 🙆🏻‍♀️🙌🏼. —————————————————-
There’s 3 muscles that make up the hamstrings, In the lying leg curl the hamstrings perform knee joint flexion. In this action the back of the lower leg (the shin) moves toward the posterior thigh. All three muscles are involved in this action 🔥.

Och ja.. det är nog sant🤷‍♀️😅 MEN, Jag är inte heller rädd för att misslyckas, oftast så hittar jag något positivt i det också tillslut efter stånk och stön, jag förstår att jag utvecklas av det. Man vill ju inte sitta på ålderdomshemmet och ångra att man var en fegis🤣 om en dörr stängs.. ja.. då brukar faktiskt en annan öppnas, inte värre än så.. oftast 😁🧐

Jag märker också det, att ju mer man vågar vara sig själv desto bättre blir relationerna som man har, ju mer du accepterar dig själv desto mer öppen och accepterande blir du gentemot människor runt dig, man behåller, möter och har kvar de som faktiskt älskar DIG för den du verkligen är, och det, det gillar vi🙉

Idag körde jag rygg vilket var SÅ roligt, testade även köra lätta marklyft för att se hur ryggen verkligen mår (och kanske för att jag ibland inte orkar bry mig om att kroppen strävar emot😅🤪) vilket gick väldigt bra!! So far so good💁‍♀️ lär ju ha träningsvärk deluxe imorgon💃❤️💪👊

I hear all the time from my challengers how hard it is to find time when you get home, dinner, errands, house works, kids, pets - you name it, is got their attention. Why it's important to have workout buddy... There are some movements that you are good at and some that your workout buddy will be good at. The tendency is to slack off on the ones that you're not. In my case the distressing double unders and in Sethu's case the dreaded burpees... While we concentrate on our own workouts, when we see each other slacking off on the moves that we suck at it which is usually inadvertently slowing down & taking longer breaks, we end up pushing and egging each other to get the work done!!

I often wonder about where my insecurities came from because surely it couldn’t have been just from me? It must have started from somewhere🤷🏽‍♀️
And when I think about it, from a very young age it would be other people. Friends parents, distant family members, strangers.... and I’m not one to let someone’s judgements get to me too easily but back then, subconsciously, it did because I was only young 🤔

My mindset has changed completely seeing different body types, different peoples goals and I respect each and everyone working towards their goals 👏🏽 Especially thanks to Instagram!! 🙌🏽 Maybe if I was that girl who didn’t have that negativity so early on then I could just walk round the gym in my bra and leggings sets👯‍♀️ Or maybe it’s just me making excuses 😱
Either way, I have these thoughts daily but yet I still appreciate all that my body has been through and I’m comfortable with where it’s at even if it’s not my “ideal body goals” 💖

When I started my fitness journey, I never imagined I could be where I am today. I have pushed myself further than I ever thought possible. I have ignored every thought or doubt in the back of my mind that told me "You Can't" and proven to myself that I CAN. I have chosen to live my life the way that I want and BE HAPPY. I have amazing friends and family by my side, I have been given the opportunity to work with two amazing fitness companies, I'm perusing a new career in fitness so I can help other people get to where I am today, and I'm waking up everyday choosing to continue to be happy and better myself more and more with each day! When I started my fitness journey, I never imagined I could be where I am today. I have pushed myself further than I ever thought possible. I have ignored every thought or doubt in the back of my mind that told me "You Can't" and proven to myself that I CAN. I have chosen to live my life the way that I want and BE HAPPY. I have amazing friends and family by my side, I have been given the opportunity to work with two amazing fitness companies, I'm perusing a new career in fitness so I can help other people get to where I am today, and I'm waking up everyday choosing to continue to be happy and better myself more and more with each day!
