I’m SO happy to be back in the gym 💪 I’ve missed it so much and it felt amazing to get a good sweat on! My workout today was:
.
- 30min incline walk level 6
- 3x10 squats - 3x10 RDLs
- 3x10 KB squat & swing through - 3x10 weighted glute bridges - lots of stretching! .
Tried out my new gymshark leggings from their ‘flex’ range and oh my god 😍 I am in love! They are such nice material, so supportive, squat proof and make the 🍑 look gooood 👌picked these up for £20 in their sale - such a bargain! .
It’s been a very good, healthy day today and I’m feeling energised and refreshed (despite my raging hayfever 😭). Hope everyone has had a good Sunday! 💛

Never let a stumble in the road be the end of a journey.💥 The past few months i have been working towards competing in my first Powerlifting competition. Working with a coach to guide and support me along the way, i have made massive improvements in my lifts and have been lifting weights i never thought i was capable of. 
I have never personally suffered from a injury during training until now. Becoming frustrated with myself not being able to lift weights that I should be able to do for reps. But I knew something was not right in my body so did not want to risk injuring myself any further. 
Now knowing that I have early stages of a bulged disc rest and recovery is key right now and I have had to post-pone competing next week. I am upset as I have put in a lot of work over the past few months but I know it is the best decision for now. But there is no saying that I could not compete again in the future. 
A huge thank you to my coach @derranrwf for teaching me so many new things and making me more confident to believe in myself and change my mindset. Excited to continue to learn more next things with you.

🔥How to train effectively 🔥

Plain and simple, if you want results, you need to train properly. You have to out in the work, the effort and bring the intensity, but you also have to do it right. Too many people are focused on just rushing their workout and that leads to improper form and uncontrolled/low-quality reps. Whether their use of momentum to get the weight up, not going the full ROM or just simply rushing the set, quality of the reps matters a lot when it comes to training. In addition to quality reps, you have to bring the intensity without overdoing it. There is a fine threshold of optimal intensity which is where you stop about 1 to 2 quality reps short of complete failure meaning you cold do one more rep, but your form is going to suffer big time. You don't want to lift to absolute failure and you don't want to lift too shy thereof. Quality reps with ideal and optimal intensity is the golden ticket to making strength and mass gains all day.

Plain and simple, if you want results, you need to train properly. You have to out in the work, the effort and bring the intensity, but you also have to do it right. Too many people are focused on just rushing their workout and that leads to improper form and uncontrolled/low-quality reps. Whether their use of momentum to get the weight up, not going the full ROM or just simply rushing the set, quality of the reps matters a lot when it comes to training. לא אימון כוח, לא ריצה ולא פילאטיס. 
לכן משהו בי קצת התרתח והתרגז כשמישהי שאלה באחד מאימוני הפילאטיס כמה קלוריות שורפים באימון.
כי מעבר לזה שבאימון פילאטיס לא שורפים המון קלוריות במהלך האימון, המחשבה שמישהי מגיעה לאימון כזה על מנת לשרוף קלוריות, גרמה לי להבין שהיא פספסה את הקטע. 
פספסה את מה שזה עושה לה לגוף, את כמה שזה מחזק את הגוף שלה, וטוב לגוף שלה. וגם לנפש שלה - כתוצאה ישירה.
כמה שזה גורם לה לעבוד על שרירים פנימיים ולעבוד בצורה מדוייקת על שרירים שבשאר האימונים היא לא עובדת עליהם. או עובדת עליהם פחות.
אני יודעת שלא תמיד ולא כולם נהנים מכל האימונים, אבל אולי אם תתנו לזה צ'אנס, תגיעו אליהם ממקום נקי, של כמה טוב אתם עושים לגוף שלכם וכמה אתם מחזירים לו. אולי אז תצליחו.
כי בלי לשים לב אתם מקבלים ממנו הרבה, וקצת לוקחים הכל מובן מאליו.

Heute mal etwas Sunday Motivation 😊 auch ein kleiner pick me up für mich selbst, da meine Motivation bezüglich Ernährung echt katastrophal ist zur Zeit 😅 Mein Training zieh ich immer durch, gutes Frühstück und Mittagessen ist auch immer am Start, aber das Abendessen wird meist etwas zu kalorienreich für mein momentanes Ziel 🤦🏼‍♀️ Aber ich weiß, dass ich das wieder hinbekomme. Man muss sich nur bewusst sein, dass es nicht hundertprozentig läuft, dann ändert man es auch 💪🏼 Also: Niemand von uns ist damit allein, wenn mal nicht alles perfekt ist 😜

Uns wird ständig eingeredet, was wir zu tun und zu lassen haben. Während Eltern, Familie und Freunde es meistens gut mit uns meinen, gibt es unausgesprochene gesellschaftliche Erwartungen.
Unter anderen sollen wir: Gute Noten in der Schule haben, am besten danach Studieren und 40 Stunden pro Woche in einem Job arbeiten, wo das Geld stimmt. Egal ob es dir nun gefällt oder nicht. Oder nicht so viel mit Freunde draußen rumziehen, sondern sich lieber auf die "wichtigen" Dinge im Leben konzentrieren. Du sollst dich nicht so sehr schminken, weil natürlich sein viel schöner ist, aber wenn du dich natürlich zeigst, dann muss deine Haut perfekt sein und man darf keinen Pickel haben. "Du bist zu dick, du musst abnehmen, du bist zu dünn, gehe was essen"... •Querdenken ist da eher unerwünscht.🤐•
