MILESTONE: I set a challenge for myself to a few weeks ago that I will do a muscle-up (assisted or not). I said that I will try to do this in 30 days. 3rd week into it I finally did it...3 weeks it took me with the help of my trainer @jeffnappa.
His guidance, wisdom and constant motivation have immensely helped me through my journey. So thank you Jeff for believing in me and pushing me to my limits, and thank you to all who has been supporting me and giving me words of encouragement. 
Something to take away from all this...
One of the best feelings there is is the accomplishing of something that's difficult. It's something that's yours. It's something no one can take away from you. And it's brave too, very brave. Determination means courage, and courage means you're a real person. And it doesn't have to be the most earth shattering act either. It could be telling yourself you're going to walk a mile and then going out and walking it. Or telling yourself I'm not going to chew gum for a week and then keeping your word to yourself. Achieve your set-goals with passion, persistence, and perseverance.

Faith is so right when she says:  it can't really be explained it has to be experienced! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ “My name is Faith and I'm from South Texas. Im 30 years old and a wife and mother of two gorgeous children 3 and 2 years of age, so every mom knows who's had kids back to back like that it takes a huge toll on your body. I was at my all time highest weight ever at 220 in a size 18/20 and 1X and I was NOT going to spend the rest of my life living like that. I got a gym membership and went in full throttle, dedicated, and no stopping for a few months hard core. 
However I hit a plateau and needed help. A long time dear friend of mine kept telling me about this stuff. I just knew it was another scam for her to make money and for me to fail. I kept turning her down BUT kept seeing her posts how amazing she felt so something had to obviously be true about the product. I've already tried everything else out of the selves and prescribed and none of them worked. 
Now here I am on my 4 months of my journey and feel the best I've ever felt! Not only has it given me the energy back but also the WANT TOO to go, stay, and be active. It had helped with my lower back discomforts, its helped maintain my weight loss cause I don't crave or want junk food or fast food, it's helped my moods (always seem to be on the uppity and happier side) and people around me are like "she's the crazy girl with stickers all over her"! I try to tell people it can't really be explained it has to be experienced! 
Needless to say, I could go on with so much more about this stuff and how is has completely changed areas in my life for the better, but I may need a pamphlet!!! Heres to more thriving and living a healthier, happier, and sticker wearing life! 😍”

Howdy guys hope your Wednesday is going ok 👌🏻 been to soft play resisting the food waited and had this 2 syns for the mugshot and I found those monster energy drinks the slim cans like the red bull for 49p in Poundstretcher happy days perfect amount for me and size for my bag 💼I don’t have them often but recently I’m so fatigued and I’m not doing anything really but my sleep is constantly broken and today I realised I can’t remember the last time I had carbs properly like pasta or rice or potatoes I think it was my last Sunday dinner and that was 10 days ago 🙈 that isn’t good and I’m a bit miffed with myself with three kids working and a house to run I need carbs we all do it’s not healthy to go without so I’m going to try and have some tonight 😬

Snickerdoodle Keto Pancakes for breakfast this morning.  Recipe for the pancakes on image 2 of this post.  I followed the recipe for the pancakes exactly as described on the recipe, but I topped my pancakes with butter and @exploradomarket sweet cinnamon toast sprinkle. Supis: punane peet, kikerherned, keedumuna, mädarõikakurk (tänase hommikusöögi postis oli juttu nendest) koos paari supilusikatäie marinaadiga, paprika, valge redis, kapparid, üks kirsstomat (😆kogemata lõikasin, tegelikult ei plaaninud, jäin mõttesse ja näuh, tomat noa all), keefir, roosa sool, must pipar, mädarõigas.

Supis: punane peet, kikerherned, keedumuna, mädarõikakurk (tänase hommikusöögi postis oli juttu nendest) koos paari supilusikatäie marinaadiga, paprika, valge redis, kapparid, üks kirsstomat (😆kogemata lõikasin, tegelikult ei plaaninud, jäin mõttesse ja näuh, tomat noa all), keefir, roosa sool, must pipar, mädarõigas.

Taking responsibility for myself and realising how old habits are so easy to fall back into...So ive had a bit of a relapse lately and put back on 3kgs, food isn't always the greatest and exercise has definitely been lacking but every week I get out on the netball court and give it my all. 100% smash it out and love it. Did you know that walking is one of the best ways burn fat?

During exercise, non athletes like you and I use glucose from our last meal for energy or stored glycogen if exercising on an empty stomach. This is the most accessible form of energy to the body. Fat is mobilised for energy at around 20 minutes during the exercise ( earlier in very fit people and athletes). .
We often walk for 40 minutes to an hour, meaning we are using fat for fuel during that exercise for at least 20-40 minutes. It's great for fat loss.

Looking for a low carb substitute to pasta? @palmini_pasta is definitely the way to go! 4g of carbs and only 20kcals per serving means I can get my fill and not feel guilty about it. I love my pasta, but won't miss it now that I have my replacement. Carbohydrates is not for everyone to go without or to eat, you have to find what works for YOU. For me, I thought I would always need carbs, but I'm learning otherwise. Experiment and find out for yourself. 
By the way most of the food here was homegrown or homemade!

#transformationtuesday makeup artist addition!!!! I am so lucky to be able to do what I do. It may come as a surprise to many of you, BUT my work performance was not (in my opinion) really effected by my weight. I never struggled on my feet for 8 hours a day even at 350lbs-yes they hurt like hell at the end of the day but it didn’t hold me back!  The difference now is that I’m probably not breathing as hard or sweating nearly as much (and my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day!) I am lucky to be able to do makeup and esthetics everyday-I do remember having thoughts often of “wow, all these women come to me for beauty advice and I’m so overweight”. I don’t have those doubts of myself anymore. Now, I am happy I can fit a little better in front of the makeup chair and know that my weight has given me better health and longevity to do what i love. My assistant took this after picture and I am shocked by how my body looks!!! I had been plateauing for a few months and then actually gained a little holiday + stress weight before the picture on the left was taken in January. Below I listed the changes I made to get the results on the right that helped me shed 18 more lbs (-83lb total loss). ⁣
⁣
BUT I just want to reiterate that I’m not on a “diet”. I get asked about the diet I’m on more than any other question. Restricting and diets work for some people and I respect that, but for me it’s led to eating disorders in the past. It’s truly all about balance and moderation... which I know sounds cliché. 🤷🏼‍♀️ ⁣
⁣
I just want to keep it honest and real...⁣
⁣
• Upped my calorie intake. I believe I was actually eating fewer calories than my body wanted which was making it hold on to weight. 🤯 I used the TDEE calculation for this (which is a question I get frequently). But honestly, some days I don’t track anymore because I can intuitively eat now knowing what my body loves and responds well to. ⁣
• Participating in the @orangetheory Transformation Challenge from January to March helped me reevaluate my nutrition. It helped me become more honest with myself. Yes I eat more calories, but most of the calories I do eat come from fruit or vegetables or lean protein sources. ⁣
• Changing it up in the OTF studio. I used to be an avid treadmill starter. I would legit race to get to my favorite tread at @otfnwomaha 😂. But I started changing it up about mid March. When I’m taking a 3G class I love starting on the floor. And other days I’ll start on the rower. I believe this has benefitted me because I am able to lift heavy and burn my legs out before running on the treadmill. ⁣
• I reevaluate the weights I’m using quite frequently. If I’m not struggling during the last rep, I increase my weight selection.⁣
⁣
Something I’ve learned through it all is that this journey of becoming a “healthier me” is perpetual. I’ll always have some bad days, days where I struggle, some good days, and some days where I am and give my best. But the most important thing is to love myself through it all. 🙌🏼⁣

I had been plateauing for a few months and then actually gained a little holiday + stress weight before the picture on the left was taken in January. Below I listed the changes I made to get the results on the right that helped me shed 18 more lbs (-83lb total loss). ⁣

BUT I just want to reiterate that I’m not on a “diet”. I get asked about the diet I’m on more than any other question. Restricting and diets work for some people and I respect that, but for me it’s led to eating disorders in the past. It’s truly all about balance and moderation... which I know sounds cliché. 🤷🏼‍♀️ ⁣

I just want to keep it honest and real...⁣

• Upped my calorie intake. I believe I was actually eating fewer calories than my body wanted which was making it hold on to weight. 🤯 I used the TDEE calculation for this (which is a question I get frequently). But honestly, some days I don’t track anymore because I can intuitively eat now knowing what my body loves and responds well to. ⁣
• Participating in the @orangetheory Transformation Challenge from January to March helped me reevaluate my nutrition. It helped me become more honest with myself. Yes I eat more calories, but most of the calories I do eat come from fruit or vegetables or lean protein sources. ⁣
• Changing it up in the OTF studio. I used to be an avid treadmill starter. I would legit race to get to my favorite tread at @otfnwomaha 😂. But I started changing it up about mid March. When I’m taking a 3G class I love starting on the floor. And other days I’ll start on the rower. I believe this has benefitted me because I am able to lift heavy and burn my legs out before running on the treadmill. ⁣
• I reevaluate the weights I’m using quite frequently. If I’m not struggling during the last rep, I increase my weight selection.⁣

Something I’ve learned through it all is that this journey of becoming a “healthier me” is perpetual. I’ll always have some bad days, days where I struggle, some good days, and some days where I am and give my best. But the most important thing is to love myself through it all. 🙌🏼⁣

And the bigger question: Even if it did (it does not), is it truly how you want to live your life?⠀

Nearly all of the Keto followers I know have one thing in common: food is a huge focus in their lives. ⠀

Food becomes the centerpiece of their conversations, thoughts, activities, and google searches.⠀

And, what happens when the cool pinterest keto creations aren’t cutting it anymore? ⠀

Are you willing to forever limit your restaurant choices to “allowable” options instead of just having some apps with your friends or fam? ⠀

Will you want to keep up the extreme carb-cutting indefinitely?⠀

If that’s a heartfelt YES for you, then Keto might be your jam. But for most of us, that’s a NO. ⠀

Hitting the gym and embracing all of the soft and squishy bits.🥰
UPDATE:
Currently 16 weeks + 5 and there are LOTS of body changes happening!! It’s been over 3 years since I carried Evie and what a huge difference in both pregnancy and body comparison!
It blows my mind that I’m actually 20kg lighter right now compared to my first pregnancy at 16 weeks with Evie!🤯
It’s crazy to think I was lugging an extra 20kg around plus growing a baby.😳
This time round I am keeping active with attending the gym (low impact exercises) and continuing with my walking.💪🏻
A few people have asked if I am terrified of weight gain and how it will effect my mental health🌿
It’s suddenly is strange to be losing weight as a goal for so long to then start watching my body, grow and change so much!😆
I honestly am embracing the extra fluff and curves, the boobs I’ve now grown and celebrating all that I’m capable of whilst growing a little life.💕
My mindset is “I’ve lost it all before and I can do it all again”.✨
Obviously starting out at a healthy weight to begin with is going to help with having a healthy overall pregnancy.👍🏼
As far as diet goes, I have been loosely tracking my food to make sure I’m eating well balanced and am not using the term that “pregnant women are eating for two.❌
