Alright, I figured it's been a little bit since I've posted split content so what a better day to share this awesome posts that I agree with by Buycepindia!⁣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣
So let me open up with a disclaimer that the bro-split is not necessarily bad. I still remember my old log books from tracked bro splits that I have til this day. For the most part I fell into the same trap that most everyday fitness enthusiast find in magazines by people that were on super creatine (aka enhancers etc) and were growing mad with crazy results from this type of style of workout.⁣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣
BUT as naturals, time and time again studies have shown that in order to benefit efficiently for muscle growth that hitting the muscle groups multiple times a week is the most efficient way of putting on muscle.⁣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣
What you have here is a 6 day split where each muscle group is getting hit multiple times a week. For most this is a lot of volume so keep that in mind as you could use other splits to hit the muscle groups frequently only in less days.⁣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣
This example has abs/core getting hit on a separate day as many of you know that I only hit abs directly twice a week on lower days with hanging leg raises but feel free to add any core or ab exercises you like to these types of programs.⁣

Another thing animal agriculture is very efficient at is deforestation. It's estimated that around 80% of the tropical rainforest is cleared to grow monoculture crops for lifestock feed and pasture. Our growing appetite for animal products is destroying a natural system that has an enormous ecological and environmental importance. If our current practices of deforestation persist, it is estimated that in 100 years rainforests will be gone and so will be their ecosystem services, such as oxygen production, global climate stabilization, water cycle maintenance, habitats for biodiversity, protection against soil erosion, food and natural medicine production and also carbon sequestration. The loss of forests contributes around 14% of annual global greenhouse emissions when we should really use trees to do the opposite and help absorb huge amounts of excessive carbon dioxide from the atmosphere that is causing climate change and ocean acidification. And we can help rainforests grow and slowly recover by educating ourselves about how our lifestyle choices affect them. Our food choices have a huge impact and a simple act of eliminating animal products from our diets makes a significant difference. The more people adopt a plant based vegan diet, the bigger our collective contribution will be to stop the destructive deforestation for animal agriculture purposes. We all have to take the responsibility for the only planet we have, but haven't been taking good care of. It's time we start being conscious and responsible Earthlings for our own sakes. So, choose plants for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. I made a barley soup with vegetables, beans and spices, like bay leaf, cumin, red paprika, chili flakes, black pepper, added some kale and soy jogurt and had this for lunch with homemade bread. And it was delicious.

Keeping it very simple today with this bowl, featuring turmeric chickpeas (just chickpeas heated up with some turmeric and a tbsp of tamari), peas, tomatoes, cucumber, and sesame seeds, all drizzled with tahini (as I am totally team tahini on everything). I honestly love simple meals like this, and the great thing is that it’s really easy to meal prep for them - for example, cooking the chickpeas or preparing the vegetables in advance, and then just throwing everything together in a bowl. It’s been a busy couple of days as I’m heading back to uni next weekend, but I’m looking forward to relaxing a bit more tomorrow and most likely doing some baking. Working on my summer body the same way I work for it during winter. With whole,real food and choosing quality over quantity ALWAYS. .
It’s totally fine If summer is giving you motivation and specific goals to achieve something but don’t forget that working on yourself is something you should do all year around! .
On my plate today: grilled chicken + boiled egg + roasted garlic/lemon asparagus + mixed greens + carrots + lemon/olive oil dressing.
