Trying clean high pulls over power cleans since I can't drop wait and this feels more practical as I progress to heavier weights. I skipped another day yesterday so I combined my strength workouts into one again.

[MANUAL THERAPY CAN BE A TEACHING TOOL]

I run into this scenario quite frequently, and it’s one reason I find the MULLIGAN™ Concept a valuable manual therapy tool. For those clients locked into unidimensional thinking and convinced their situations can’t change, I might consider using Mobilizations with Movement to show them otherwise.
.
I this particular scenario, I was lucky enough to find a means to violate expectations about pain, arthritis and the capacity for change. Notice my follow up questioning: I am not starting by giving answers, but rather I am leading my client to find them.
.
Here’s how the conversation proceeded:
.
Nick: ‘So what do you think about that?’
Client: ‘I don’t know actually.’ [HE ACTUALLY SAID THIS AND IT’S COMMON].
Nick: ‘Well do you think I magically changed your arthritis in 5 seconds?’
Client: ‘Probably not.’
Nick: ‘That’s right. So what does that tell us about your pain?’
Client: ‘Not sure. Maybe it’s not arthritis?”
Nick: ‘Maybe not. But the main point here is we know you don’t need to change your arthritis to change your pain. And that’s a great thing.”
.
I opened an important door, hopefully. The point here is to nudge him away from the thinking that his shoulder pain is ALL about arthritis, as that’s unhelpful thinking. I want to give him hope that we can improve his current circumstances DESPITE his arthritis.

Quando realizamos um T2B pensando apenas em levar o pé em direção da barra a qualquer custo, geramos um balanço pendular, este balanço pendular, impedirá que você consiga executar uma sequência de T2B. Para solucionar este problema, devemos pensar na realização dos dois movimentos básicos da ginástica: Hollow Rock e Arch Rock.

Portanto, aqui vai um vídeo com progressões para compreender melhor esse movimento 👉Com 2 elásticos na frente e atrás para ajudar a conectar o balanço 👉Agora o objetivo e levar os joelhos o mais alto possível com o auxílio de apenas um elástico 👉E por último, o tão sonhado T2b

Did something like this a couple months ago with @lane.adams_ . Instead of the airrunner we did a mixture of rowing 10 calories or did 10 calories on the ski erg. Smoked my last time by more than 2 minutes.

Continuing crossfit throughout my pregnancy has been amazing! I feel I've best prepared myself for the marathon of labour and given myself the best opportunity for recovery following birth. I've had an amazing pregnancy 😀

It was SO important to me to stay active during this time and I can't thank @ellocko_cfstk & @jennajeffrey_bc and also @maria_hogan enough for the guidance to train safely and appropriately. 
It's the year of crossfit babies for these beautiful ladies pictured and such an exciting time for us 💕

It's time for me now to listen to my body, allow relaxin to do its thing and rest up before baby arrives. I am so grateful that my body has allowed me to move in a way I love throughout 38 weeks of pregnancy.

Can't wait to meet you Baby Goodall 💙

👨🏽‍🏫 Why should you engage in moderate sustained output aerobic training often? ⁣
⁣
🏃🏾‍♂️ Aerobic training can be any form of training in which you are working to increase the capacity of your body’s ability to utilize oxygen for energy. Aerobic training poses many benefits to general fitness and health such as:⁣
⁣
1️⃣ Increased cardiovascular efficiency – Studies have shown that by engaging in frequent aerobic conditioning you can increase the body’s ability to utilize oxygen as a source of energy. Often times as people become more fit, their resting heart rate decreases. This is because the amount of work required of the heart to pump a certain amount of blood to the body decreases as your body’s ability to utilize oxygen increases. The result is less stress on the heart as you become more efficient.⁣

2️⃣ Mental Health -  Aerobic conditioning can decrease daily stress, anxiety, and depression, therefore improving overall quality of life.⁣

3️⃣ Weight management – Regular exercise requires the use of calories for certain metabolic functions. As long as caloric input and output is being managed properly, aerobic training can help with obtaining a healthy body composition.⁣

4️⃣ Bone/Muscle Health – Low impact exercises such as biking, running, and even moderate intensity walking has been shown to effective in reducing certain muscle and bone ailments due to the increase in oxygen supply as well as increase in your body’s ability to remove waste product from the muscles.⁣
